Who's building FieldDesk
FieldDesk is the brainchild of Jamie Ross - that's me!
I've spent my career working in various high risk industries on the prevention of fatalities and life changing injuries. I'm always amazed at how complicated and wordy we make safety processes, and then how simple the things are that tend to fail when things go really badly wrong.
I want to change the way we think about safety - helping frontline workers focus on what they already know is most important. Not paperwork for paperworks' sake, but the really important things that let them go home safe at the end of the day.
I've also run my own family farm and farm contracting business for the last decade, and experienced all the headaches (and joys) that go with having a team working for you on your own or others' farms.
